Best known for its contested Sevenoaks annexe, opened in 2017 ten miles from the main Tonbridge site — legally one school with a single admission number and one set of criteria, though a campaign group alleged in 2019 that the two sites had operationally drifted apart, a claim never resolved by any source found since. On admissions, the school sets no score requirement above Kent's standard threshold, and its current 2027/28 policy just abolished the postcode-and-parish catchment area used as recently as the previous cycle, replacing it with pure straight-line distance from a single Tonbridge reference point — a significant, recent policy change.

But classification is genuinely inconsistent across sources: some group Weald of Kent with Judd as superselective, while other current grammar-ranking sources place Kent's superselective tier as Judd, Skinners', Tonbridge Grammar and Dartford Grammar without including Weald of Kent.
